As part of a major digital transformation programme, Torchbox worked in a consortium with Unboxed and Scroll to design, build and launch a Wagtail-powered digital platform for Buckinghamshire Council - the new unitary authority formed from five former councils.
The new Wagtail platform will replace the five legacy council sites and includes integrations with the Council’s recruitment platform and case tracking service. After launch, it was the 4th most accessible council website in the UK - scoring 92.6% for Level AAA. Torchbox is continuing to contribute towards standardised components for local authorities, such as GDS forms and integration kits for central government systems so other progressive councils can benefit from the work.
