TT International knew their digital brand was underperforming and their rivals were attracting more new clients online. Navigation was unintuitive and maintenance time was high. Site performance, mobile responsiveness and accessibility all needed improvement. This all contributed to a situation that was critical to overcome as it directly impacted revenue.
TT knew there had to be a better way to engage with prospects, but weren’t sure how. Our research showed their audience - informed, sophisticated investors - were looking for quality. Ease of access, clarity of information and a cutting edge digital approach were necessary to reflect the quality of their offering.
UX work helped us clarify there were 3 key themes that needed to be highlighted:

By ensuring these were easily available and that potential clients found the presentation of this content engaging we were confident that we would increase leads from prospective clients and overall revenue.
We invested heavily in the UX and design phase to help them feel ownership of the project. We researched competitors as well as carrying out a content audit. Our design team provided TT with insight into how relevant brands were presenting themselves in terms of site navigation, typography, illustrative and photographic styles.
We produced 3 visual concepts. These provided TT with challenging approaches for them to review. This was a critical step as the client felt fully involved in the decisions about the overall look and feel of their site.
From a technical point of view we focused on delivering a simple but robust and tailored CMS using Wagtail. Wagtail was the perfect solution as it gave the TT content team the control they needed while also being far easier to use than their previous system. From our point of view we were also able to achieve the high quality frontend design with Wagtail.
On the frontend, our design and development teams worked closely to ensure that we delivered the subtle nuances such as the responsive video background. We carefully structured the development to ensure a consistent, high quality experience across all relevant devices and browsers.
